My garage door opens a little, but then slams back down. I heard a “bang” and now it won’t open at all.

You likely have a broken spring. Reach out to us immediately to schedule an appointment, as it can be very dangerous to repair without the proper tools and equipment.

All of my remotes quit working.

Check the lock button on your wall control panel. This feature, occasionally prevents the remote controls from communicating with your garage door opener. Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds to turn it off – this will likely resolve the issue.

The motor runs, but the door won’t move.

Ensure that the operator hasn’t become disengaged. If you can manually lift your door without tugging on the red release cord, then it’s disengaged. To re-engage the door, pull the red release cord, open the door halfway, and press the button on the wall control panel. It should re-engage automatically. If it doesn’t, refer to your owner’s manual for further instructions.For assistance, watch this video HERE. If the door is not disengaged, the issue might stem from a stripped gear or carriage, depending on your motor type. Contact a professional for this type of service to ensure proper repair.

My door makes a loud screeching noise when I open/close it.
